Golden Years - large golden taxidermy raccoon head

All taxidermy work, as well as tanning and dyeing of the hide was done by me. This is a large raccon cape obtained from another taxodermist's freezer clean out. It is bleached to a golden color and mounted on a painted and hand gilded cast replica black forest plaque. The plaque is approx 15 1/2" x 16" decorated with dyed chicken feathers, leather, and vintage brass findings.
